A Centralized Platform for Diabetes Data Management & Hospital Onboarding
Introduction
Managing healthcare data efficiently requires a structured, accessible, and scalable system. OnPointNG is designed to streamline the collection, tracking, and management of diabetic patient data while enabling hospitals to seamlessly onboard and retrieve patient records.
The platform provides admins, agents, hospitals, and patients with the tools they need to manage healthcare data effectively. Admins can oversee operations, create and manage custom forms and reports, and ensure a centralized, data-driven approach to diabetes healthcare.

Problem Statement
Healthcare data management is often fragmented, making it difficult for administrators to maintain oversight, ensure data accuracy, and streamline hospital onboarding. Some of the key challenges include:
Disorganized patient records, leading to inconsistencies across different hospitals
Limited visibility for administrators, making it difficult to track agent performance and hospital onboarding progress
Manual and inefficient reporting, slowing down decision-making
Lack of centralized form management, resulting in inconsistencies in patient data collection
OnPointNG solves these issues by providing a centralized admin dashboard with full control over agents, hospitals, and patient records, along with automated reporting and form creation tools.
Key Features
1. Admin Dashboard for Centralized Oversight
Provides a comprehensive view of all agents, hospitals, and patients, allowing administrators to track operations in real time.

2. Custom Form Creation & Management
Admins can create and distribute customized patient intake forms to standardize data collection across hospitals.

3. Reports & Insights
Generates real-time reports on agent performance, hospital onboarding progress, and patient data trends.

4. Hospital Onboarding Management
Admins can oversee the onboarding process, ensuring hospitals are integrated efficiently into the platform.

5. Secure Patient Data Retrieval
Hospitals can use unique patient IDs to access medical records, while admins maintain full control over data access permissions.

Challenges & Solutions
Challenge: Designing for Multiple User Types
OnPointNG serves three distinct user groups—admins, agents, and hospitals—each with different needs, workflows, and levels of access. Creating an intuitive experience for all of them while maintaining a cohesive design was a significant challenge.
Solution:
Developed a scalable design system with consistent UI components, ensuring uniformity across all user interfaces.
Created role-based dashboards with customized navigation and permissions, allowing each user type to access only the most relevant information.
Conducted user testing with real admins, agents, and hospital staff to refine usability and improve efficiency.
Challenge: Managing Complex Data Without Overwhelming Users
The platform required large amounts of structured data, including patient records, hospital details, and agent activity reports. Ensuring this data was easily accessible without cluttering the interface was a major design challenge.
Solution:
Implemented progressive disclosure—only showing critical information upfront while keeping secondary data easily accessible.
Designed clear, high-contrast data visualization tools (charts, tables, and summary cards) to simplify complex analytics for admins.
Used modular UI components to maintain flexibility while keeping interactions intuitive.
Challenge: Ensuring Consistency Across Web & Mobile Experiences
OnPointNG needed to work seamlessly across desktop and mobile since agents primarily use mobile devices, while admins and hospitals access the platform on larger screens.
Solution:
Created a responsive admin dashboard, ensuring reports, analytics, and data management tools remained fully functional across all devices.
Designed for both web and mobile breakpoints, with a mobile first approach for the agents as their phones would be their primary device.

Challenge: Streamlining Hospital Onboarding & Agent Workflows
Agents are responsible for onboarding hospitals, which required a structured, error-free process. However, initial tests showed inconsistencies in how different agents entered data.
Solution:
Developed guided onboarding flows to ensure agents followed a structured process for hospital registration.
Implemented real-time validation to reduce data entry errors and ensure consistency across all hospital records.
Integrated automated progress tracking, allowing admins to monitor onboarding status and agent performance easily.

Challenge: Maintaining a Scalable & Maintainable Design
As OnPointNG expands, adding more hospitals, patients, and agents, the platform needed a scalable design that could evolve without becoming cluttered or inconsistent.
Solution:
Built a component-based design system that allows for rapid updates and feature expansion.
Established clear typography, color schemes, and UI patterns to ensure future scalability.
Documented design guidelines to maintain consistency as new features and users are added.

Conclusion
OnPointNG is redefining healthcare data management by providing admins, hospitals, and patients with a centralized, secure, and efficient platform. With features like agent oversight, form customization, automated reporting, and patient tracking, it ensures data-driven decision-making and seamless hospital integration.
